Introduction
The Development and Alumni office is responsible both for initiating and developing ongoing meaningful relationships with alumni and friends of the University of Brighton and also for the generation of philanthropic income from a range of external sources to help support the priorities and ambitions of the institution.
The collective term Alumni is used to describe the constituency of former students of the University of Brighton, Brighton Polytechnic and its associated colleges. The term Friends is used to refer to all other individuals and organisations with an interest or association with the University of Brighton.
