For a first aid request and for assistance in summoning a first aider please call 2222.Details are provided on posters throughout each building

  • Please do not use any online forms for emergencies such as Fire, Gas or Flooding

Contact the emergency services directly and the 24hr E&FM emergency number - Your call will be answered by a member of Estate and Facilities Management 01273 (64) 3549

  • Procedure for reporting a Gas Leak

Anyone who smells gas or suspects a gas leak should immediately call the National gas emergency number 0800 111 999.
If possible, isolate the gas supply, extinguish ALL naked flames. Do NOT switch ON or OFF any electrical appliances, including lights.
Ventilate the effected area by opening windows. If the gas cannot be isolated, vacate the
Building/area. Do not re-enter until authorized to do so by either Transco or the EFM dept.
If the gas smell is outside, close windows to stop the smell of gas entering the building.

Information for Students

Currently students cannot raise a maintenance request using the online forms. To report a maintenance and repairs fault in any non-residential building please notify either the site caretakers, or a relevant staff member.
