Permit parking is in place at most of the University of Brighton's campuses. However, a parking permit does not guarantee that a parking space will be available for your use.
Moulsecoomb, Falmer and Eastbourne have different coloured parking permits that are specific to their individual sites. If you wish to park at different campuses you will need a permit for each one.

Brighton parking permits
Permits are required for parking at most university campus locations in Brighton. Details of the permit systems in place at these locations are provided below, followed by parking information at Eastbourne and Hastings.
Permits are required for students and staff parking at all university car parks at Moulsecoomb (Cockcroft, Watts, Mithras House and the Manor House).
All staff and students parking at Moulsecoomb are required to display orange parking permits from 29 September (2014) when parking restrictions will recommence. These permits are only valid for the Moulsecoomb campus car parks.
Please complete the online parking permit form to obtain a permit. You can also obtain a paper copy of this form from Cockcroft Reception.

Moulsecoomb/Watts Park and Ride
A permit system is also in place for the park and ride scheme based at the Watts building north car park. Red permits are required and should be clearly displayed. Only vehicles displaying this permit are eligible to use the park and ride bays.
Parking restrictions will recommence for park and ride users from, and including, Monday 29 September (2014). (Up until this date and bearing in mind the earlier restrictions at Falmer, colleagues can use the north or south Watts car parks before that date if they are using the scheme to travel to Falmer or Varley Park).

- term-time parking restrictions commence from, and include, Monday 15 September (2014);
- a green permit is required for both students and staff who need to park at Falmer;
- green permits are only valid at the Falmer campus.

There are no university car parks at the Grand Parade campus. However, the campus is extensively served by public transport and public car parks. On-street parking bays are also located nearby.

Permits are required for parking at Eastbourne campus car parks. These permits are colour coded according to whether you are a student or staff member.
Staff are required to display pink permits.
Students are required to display light blue permits.

There are no university car parks at the Hastings campus. However, public car parks and on-street parking bays are located nearby.
