Mayfield House
Completed in 2003, the Mayfield House building houses part of The Brighton and Sussex Medical School (established 2002) at the Falmer campus.
Also located at Falmer are the Postgraduate Medical School and large biomedical science and health psychology research laboratories that have been recognised in successive HEFCE research assessment exercises as achieving international standards of excellence.

Ground floor - accommodation for:
IS computer pooled room;
Three EFM pooled seminar rooms and 1 small pooled lecture theatre (capacity 100);
CLT and CCPD offices and two seminar rooms;
School of Education performance studio;
Small catering facility (sandwich bar);
Middle floor - accommodation for:
School of Applied Social Science

CNMR
IHDRC
ERC

Top floor - accommodation for:
Faculty Offices of the Faculty of Health;
Post Graduate Medical School Offices and one seminar room; BSMS Offices and teaching rooms.Since the opening of The Checkland Building, and due to changes in occupation taking place, the suite of rooms in Mayfield are larger and less cramped.
EFM's Deputy Director, Neil Humphreys, was the project manager for Mayfield House.
