guidelines
These guidelines are not a definitive list of things you must
do to run a conference, rather they are a series of hints, tips,
prompts and questions that you should consider before, during and
after the running of a conference or event.
There are some specific points aimed at organisers of events that
are financially self-supporting, but most sections are relevant
to anyone organising an event.
There
are also links to supporting documentation on staffcentral – checklists,
budget examples, and resources available in the university to event
organisers.
