eSubmission
eSubmission is defined as the online submission of an assignment.
The recommend software for eSubmission is Turnitin for text and studentcentral for non-text assignments.

Plagiarism:
The University guidelines on plagiarism can be found within its Academic Misconduct Policy.
ASC have endorsed 3 revised ways for the use of the TurnitinUK Plagiarism Detection service. Further information can be found here
Support:
Students can receive help with technical difficulties from the Service Desk, including out-of-hours support.

Plagiarism
Awareness:
The University has issued a Plagiarism Awareness Pack for staff to use as the basis of a workshop with students at an early stage of each course, to help raise awareness of the issues relating to academic honesty, and the importance of correct referencing.
Support:
Support for staff is provided centrally through Information Services and staff should contact their Learning Technology Adviser who can explain the process in a one to one, or to the course/module team or with written/video instructions. Students and staff can receive help with technical difficulties from the Service Desk, including out-of-hours support.
