User Guide - Mobiles
If your university mobile phone is either lost or stolen then by following
this procedure you will ensure that everything possible has been done
to prevent illegitimate call charges being incurred.
On the loss of the handset immediately contact;
- Telecoms. We
will then ensure that a bar is placed on the SIM card and handset.
If the loss occurs out of normal office hours or in the event that
Telecoms is unavailable, contact your service provider directly. The
university currently uses T-Mobile and Orange as its mobile service
providers, the details of which are as follows;
To report your handset as lost or stolen call 0845
412 5000 direct,
or from another T-Mobile handset dial 150 then
Press 4 > 1 (only available when dialling 150 from a T-Mobile
phone in the UK).
From abroad (charged at applicable international rates) call +44
7953 966 150 direct.
Orange
